Step Up Fitness App
Overview:
Some of the biggest reasons people stray from their fitness journey are a lack of time and motivation. This fitness app will help people manage their workout regimen by letting them select their activities and providing more accessible alternatives to help beginners build their fitness progression.
Goal:
The goal is to help the user with their fitness journey. The app needs to be easy to navigate because it is for people who have limited time for their workouts. The customization options let the user browse the core workout routines and various activities ranging from easy to complex, allowing them to create their workout that fits the schedule.
Project Experience:
This project was a long but enjoyable experience. Most people stop their fitness journey due to a lack of time or motivation. So, I have to find ways to address those issues. I tackled the first problem by providing various customization options for the user so they can choose how much time they want to spend on their exercise. They can also design their fitness regime from easy to hard exercise variations and workouts. The user can set small goals to stay motivated when seeing their workout progress. I only included five critical categories in the tracking function for my app. With limited categories, the user can navigate more efficiently and quickly track their progress.
Project Outcome:
I am satisfied with the outcome of the app design. The app lets users navigate faster and start immediately with a simple, user-friendly interface. The user can create a routine tailored to their needs through various customization options to help them stay motivated on the fitness journey.
