Magician Henry Hill Logo
Overview:
The objective was to create a logo design for the magician Henry Hill. He is a young magician who studied the art of illusions and misdirection to create many incredible acts on stage. Hill wants to have branding that reflects his skill as a magician. A new logo is the first step to presenting himself to his audience.
Goal:
The goal was to create an exciting and memorable design that helped the audience recognize Hill’s brand as a magician. The logo should prominently feature the name Henry Hill as the primary element. The logo must portray a sense of excitement to match the magic acts performed by the magician.
Project Experience:
This was one of the more challenging projects. The concept was to design in the Victorian-era style, which was new to me. During that era, logo design was more elaborate, with many intricate ornaments and illustrations. I am used to minimalistic logo design, so my challenge was balancing decorative elements and not cluttering the overall logo. The design I chose combined big and bold typography as the focal point of the logo. The ornaments act as a decorative element and framing device for the logo. The icon, combined top hat, and playing cards are slightly smaller than the typography, representing magic’s misdirection aspect.
Project Outcome:
I like the outcome of the design. The logo shows the glamor and mystery of the magician with decorative elements and colors while not clustering with details. It made the logo visually appealing and memorable to the viewer.
